Starving for Inspiration

I'm in a drought of sorts. My creative energy has all but dried up and I feel like the pitiful plant sitting on the corner of my bathtub begging for water... or in my case, inspiration.

I have dozens of patterns and tutorials up in my studio calling my name. I have yummy fabrics begging to be made into beautiful things. Yet here I sit, lacking the creative drive to do anything beyond admire the beautiful colors that stare back at me from my textile shelves.

It's almost as if I'm too scattered. I have so many things in the lineup that I don't even know where to begin.

I have crafting ADD.

As I sit here rambling on about my lack of focus, I'm beginning to realize that part of my struggle can be attributed to my lack of organization. I don't even know where to begin because I always feel like I should be doing something else... But from what I'm reading on other "mom blogs", this is a pretty typical thought for a lot of women who stay home with their children.

Or, perhaps it's because I'm constantly chasing around my spirited two year old who, at this very moment, is terrorizing our dogs and making a mess of our den.

And with that, the disorganization and lack of inspiration will be put on the back shelf in lieu of fishing Mickey Mouse of of the dog's water bowl - for the third time in ten minutes.
