Well, Hello There!

If you're reading this post, it means that you have been chosen.

Okay, so it's not that serious.

One of the things I like to do best is fight for people who don't have a voice to fight for themselves.  It's a little thing known as advocacy.  Well, I've picked up an education advocacy case, and in order to protect it's integrity I have tried to remove all identifying information about myself from the internet.  This sadly means making my blog private for a little while.

Just think, at least you're one of the chosen few who still gets to read this... well, whatever this is.

The Mohawk Monster's birthday was on Sunday.  It's hard to believe that he's three years old.  He's such a little person.  I'm very proud of how hard he's trying to listen and behave.  Although, he has these moments that make me thankful he's a cute kid if you get my drift.

Like yesterday, he was an ANGEL at the doctor.  I had to take Lil-Bit in for the typical I-Have-To-Be-Sick-Because-Mom-Is-A-Single-Parent-This-Week visit to the pediatrician.  He sat so quietly and so patiently, he was rewarded with a sticker.  We have a rule about stickers in our house: they go on paper or shirts ONLY.  Can you guess where this one wound up?

"Uth-oth Mommy.  It's stuck.  I putted it on the window.  Get it for me."

Yes, this was one of those moment's it's a good thing he's cute.

Later, I discovered that the reason for his angelic behavior had less to do with his desire to BE good and more to do with the fact that he was coming down with something.

True to form, The Husband is out of town and two of my offspring are now sporting snotty noses and high fevers.  Thankfully it's Thursday and I have a Girls Night Out planned for Saturday.

In other news, I've been insanely productive this week but STILL don't have any FO's to share.  To clarify, by insanely productive, I mean I've been letter writing, single-mom'in it, getting my house clean, and checking things off of my to-do list.  I actually think I'm more productive when The Husband isn't here because I know no one will pick up the slack for me.

Husband, I know you read this... Don't get any ideas.

Anyway, that's all for now.  I have six little eyes staring at me demanding to be entertained so I must oblige.

Until next time...

Love, hugs, and blessings,
The Mama
