Dare?

Dare to say what you truly think. Dare to express what you really feel. ~Ralph Marston~
My homepage is set here and every day, I am greeted with a welcome message that is intended to provide me with some motivation and positive thought to set me on my way.

The quote above is what welcomed me this morning.

I laughed out loud.  I've never really been one to hold back.  If you know me, you know that I suffer from random bouts of word vomit.  It just happens.  It's like the baby who suffers from severe reflux: there isn't much you can do to stop it, so your best bet is to move out of the way of the projectile mess.

I do have to say that eliminating Facebook has helped me keep some of those better-not-said expressions kept tightly locked in my head.

But I have to be honest: I'm kind of like a kettle about to blow it's lid.  So, I'm taking this as an invitation to unload some of the thoughts that have been swirling around my head this morning.

Proceed at your own risk.  You may want to have a burp cloth ready.

1.  I enjoy watching Curling on the Winter Olympics.  I'm woman enough to admit it.
2.  I wish we had a minivan.
3.  I still wish on eyelashes and stars.  And I don't tell my wishes, so don't ask... except for my wish about a minivan.  I'm pretty open about that one.
4.  I'm really sick of luxury car owners thinking they don't have to obey traffic laws.
5.  I love the look of shock that people get when they find out my kids are 16 and 18 months apart.
6.  A year later, I still deeply dislike the Octomom.
7.  I genuinely do love my husband more today than the day I married him.  It's a good thing, too!
8.  I am so much happier in my life now than I was in high school... or even college for that matter.  The only thing I miss from my 20's is my boobs.
9.  I like pushing the envelope, but I still second guess myself - a LOT.  I think it's leftover insecurity from my pre-kid years.
10.  I appreciate comments on my blog posts.  It secretly makes me feel loved.

Love, hugs, and blessings,
The Mama

I have a mini van so, I don't have to obey traffic laws either. Do as I say not as I do. Oh and get the F out my way while you do it.
