A Green Thumb, I Have Not

Several months ago, I got the brilliant idea to try and start a garden.












My seedlings did great for a few weeks. Then I tried to transplant everything.

Everything died.

So my sweet husband took me to Lowe's and bought me some potted plants.

They grew and grew.















At first glance, things look beautiful.
But if you lean a little closer and lean in, you'll see the the grossness.












Seriously. It's NASTY.

Unfortunately, this only further contributes to some of my weird quirks about food. Needless to say, I won't be eating any of my home grown veggies any time soon!
