Almost 10 Days?!

I cannot believe that's how long it has been since my last post!

In all fairness, I took a very impromptu trip out of town for the last five days.

Last weekend was rough for me emotionally, physically, mentally, etc., so Hubs invited me on his business trip. We loaded up up the car with three kiddos & all their gear (it multiplies by itself if you don't watch it carefully), one of the dogs, and headed out to Mobile, Alabama for five days.

Honestly, it was fantastic.

I got to meet up with some amazing moms whom I have been friends with in the virtual world for over two years. I also was able to dig my toes in the sand, eat some delicious fried pickles, drink some cold beer, and gain a few thousand more freckles to add to my already abundant collection.

I have pics-o-plenty and will work on getting them posted this weekend. For now, however, I am off to tend to my sunburn and enjoy sleeping in my king sized bed.
